Biography

Astrid Strömberg (b.1990) is a Helsinki based painter that works with oil painting and installed painting. Her works are included in the Saastamoinen Foundation’s collection at the Espoo Museum of Modern Art EMMA and in the Pro - Artibus Foundation’s art collection. Strömberg has had both solo exhibitions and been part of several group exhibitions in Finland, such as at the Young Artists exhibition at Kunsthalle Helsinki, at Glasshouse Helsinki and at the Taidekeskus Salmela annual young artists summer exhibition. Her exhibition “Dog spelled backwards” at gallery Snow is her first solo exhibition abroad.
